The one place in the world where you're guaranteed not to hear something like, "But she's your Mom."

Becoming estranged from a parent is one of the hardest and most complex decisions a person can make. It’s not just the loss of a relationship—it’s grieving the parent you hoped for, navigating painful memories, and living with questions like:

  • "Did I make the right choice?"
  • "Will I ever feel whole again?"
  • "Why don’t they see the pain they’ve caused me?"

It’s isolating, it’s heavy, and it’s a journey not everyone understands. But you’re not alone.

Healing doesn't have to happen alone. Join The Family Cyclebreakers Club at Calling Home and get access to this group and more.

What Members Are Saying

  • "I really love attending group. It's really complimented my personal therapy sessions as I hear new perspectives and learn new ideas to discuss."
  • "The groups have made me understand how common it is for adult children to have difficulty with family and that there are others who feel the same. That we want and deserve better and didn’t deserve to be treated the way we were. It helps me take preventative action in my own household with my kids."
  • "I often have a “lighter” feeling after the call - I can deeply and truly feel like I am not alone and I am not crazy for feeling the way I do. It is amazing to hear others’ stories and relate to each other and support each other. So much “head nodding” to each other during the calls! I’m glad I found these groups and I would encourage anyone with difficult family relationships to give them a try."
